About Me
I am a coder and maker. I love discovering new ways to make things and solve problems. I beileve in working smart and thinking out of the box. My work has been recognized by Enactus Kenya, Oracle, URBUNX Africa and ILab Africa as well as AI Kenya.
In 2019 I was recognised by Oracle for performing exemplary in their hackathon. As a hobby I author blogs on topics like emerging technologies. I also like listening to podcasts, I particularly listen to developertea, PowershellPodcast, cyberisim among others. I am also like reading motivational books. In 2019 I participated in the Oracle hackathon held at Strathmore University (ILab) and won the innovation award by build Agrarian (an IoT solution that helps farmers track their gardens by measuring and recording vital data)

I am a software developer by profession. I enjoy building elegant applications by keeping it simple. My philosophy is to always try to solve the problem at hand and then iteratively improve my solution. I beileve good software which is user friendly can be achieved by refining the work that has been done already, therefore as I always say 'make it work first, then worry about perfoemance later'.
